Sad woman in the rain While not everyone's feel is the same, when people have a major depressive episode, mostly the world looks, feels, and is understood completely differently than earlier and later on the episode. During a major depressive episode, the earth can literally seem similar a dark place. What was beautiful may look ugly, apartment, or even sinister. Even if nothing was wrong before the episode, everything seems wrong when information technology descends. Suddenly, no i seems loving or lovable. Everything is irritating. Work is irksome and unbearable. Any action takes many times more attempt, as if every move requires displacing quicksand to get in. What was challenging feels overwhelming; what was sad feels unbearable; what felt joyful feels pleasureless—or, at all-time, a fleeting drib of pleasure in an ocean of pain.

Major low feels similar intense pain that tin can't exist identified in any particular function of the body. The almost (unremarkably) pleasant and comforting affect can experience painful to the signal of tears. People seem far away—on the other side of a glass bubble. No one seems to understand or care, and people seem insincere. Depression is utterly isolating.

Instead, they and the depressed person are probable to feel frustrated and alienated from ane another.
